Lukitis and Tinagdtag aren’t just delicacies attributed to the Maguindanaons, it is also an evidence of hundreds of years of history and culture. They aren’t just food that we savor, but also the memory that we consume.

She recalls as the previous generations never truly taught its process of creation, it was observed and memorized whenever occasions happened in their community. Weddings, family gatherings, or any other celebrations, they aren’t complete without preparing Lukitis and Tinagtag.
